After working on so many projects I’ve come to the conclusion that nothing makes me more nervous than working on something for someone you don’t know. Self-doubt much? But I forged ahead regardless still questioning myself every step of the way. What if my vision is not the same as their vision? Did I fully understand their vision? Is this the right color? Oh Lord Jesus, why did I say yes? Things like that! To calm my nerves I always send photos along the way so that if we are not in sync, then it’s not too late. But today was delivery day and thankfully, it went well.
This sweet beauty was a cherished piece my new friend RoseAnne just loved. Passed on from someone special in her life she wanted to just give it a new look. So thankful to be able to put her vision in place. This lovely gem has made her way back home today to RoseAnne’s super precious condo with a view like no other, overlooking the pool of her community … so what better name than “Hermosa Vista” … beautiful view. Thank you RoseAnne for taking a chance and letting a complete stranger transform a piece near and dear to your heart! I hope lots of great meals are celebrated and fun conversations had at your new table overlooking the fabulous nighttime pool view! Enjoy!
For this project I used Behr Snowfall White, topped with a coat of Behr Clear Wax and finished with Barnyard Gray wax.
